Here we will try to give you a basic understanding of how the site is designed to work.
The Home Page:
This page will work differently depending if you are signed in or not.
Blog:
This page will show blogs from various bloggers who are authorized to post on the site.
Profile:
This section will have two options, Politicians Profile and Your Political Profile.
The Politicians Profile will show the political profile of selected politicians as they are made available. The Politicans Profile will be developed in one of two ways, by the site administrator based on the comments and voting record of the politician or by the politician him/her self.
Your Political Profile will be your PPM based on how you answered the questions in the questionnaire plus your political statement again based on your responses to the questionnaire. Your political statatement may be edited by you to more accurately reflect how you want your position stated.
Topics:
This is just another way to get at the various political topics which are there to keep issues organized and available as additional information.
Resources:
Here you should find a variety of resources that you can access and make comments about. All users may submit a resource along with informaiton about it. Once it is sobmitted it is reviewed by the site administrator for appropriateness and released of rejected. If released, the resource information is available to all users and may be visited and commented on. We anticipate using this part of the site for surveys, contests and to provide access to other sites our users may be interested in. Since resources are catagorized by topic we hope it will be another way of obtaining information on things you are interested in.

Take a Stand:
This is a key portion of the site that we hope you will use often. It allows you to access information regarding how to contact many of your elected officials, it gives you information about what you might tell them both a general statement as well as specific information on issues. Please use this portion of the site to let your politicians know you are paying attention.
