Foreign Affairs

*A great deal of the money we send to help the poor and disadvantaged in third world countries go to corrupt dictators or is lost in the distribution process because of corruption. Taxpayers may need to demand that their money go to foreign governments that support American ideals and interests as well as account for the monetary aid reaching those it was meant for.

*Millennium Challenge Corporation: to transform Americans foreign aid efforts by demanding accountability for nations receiving U.S. taxpayer funded assistance. Is it more dangerous to quit providing funding to corrupt governments, will it drive them in the arms of governments which do not share our interests? Under the program, U.S. development aid through the MCC is supposed to only go to nations that demonstrate a commitment to promoting political and economic freedom, reining in corruption and respecting the rule of law, among other clearly-defined goals.
